Christmas Cookie Recipe Swap

Here is a sneak peek at the card for JeanP's 2009 Cookie Recipe swap over at the "Cricut" message board. It's Cranberry Almond Wedges, they are easy and yummy. They use a packaged sugar cookie mix to make a shortbread style cookie. So easy to put together quickly for guests & family during the holidays.!!!

Artist Trading Cards

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) are the same size as a baseball card. They are never bought or sold, only traded with other artists. Here are two that I created for GrammaP's Mix & Match swap on the "Cricut" message board. I chose a food & song for my first card called "Java Jive", for my second choice I used a famous person & poem. I just had to make a card using Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" it has always been one of my favorites. The backgrounds of both cards are coffee dyed manilla folders, they smelled so good I couldn't get enough Latte's to drink while making them!!!

Cricut Swaps

For the last year I have been swapping paper craft items with members of the "Cricut" message board. We have shared recipe cards, Artist Trading Cards, and most recently Christmas card fronts. These are just a few.

Crochet Projects

This has to be one of my favorite projects. It was created with mill ends I purchased at AC Moore. My neice could not wait for me to finish it, she keep asking who I was making it for. I was planning on sending it to Ronald McDonald House in Delaware but ended up letting my neice keep it for her bed.

I have made so many afghans for Ronald McDonald House, I'm not even sure of the total to date. Maybe I should start to keeping track!! Heck, I can't even remember to take a picture of them.
Another one of my favorite projects are these little amigurumi's. I make them by the bunch, here are just a few.

Seasons Change

The last time a posted I was working on the round flower bed in the middle of the backyard. And now I am awaiting another snow storm. So much has changed in the months since my last post. As seasons change so must the person.
I have crocheted quite a few afghans for Ronald Mc Donald House, in Wilmington, Delaware. I will share some pictures in another post.
I have spent quite a bit of time sorting through old family photos, this can be very painful and very happy at the same time. Just when I come across a photo of Mom & Dad that makes me sad I find another that brings me back to a better place. Until the next time.......
